Mr Simon Yeo joined Ernst & Young LLP (“EY”) in 1988 and was a partner of the firm from 2001 to 2024. He has more than 35 years of experience across financial audits of local listed companies, government agencies and multinational corporations, as well as transaction advisory, sustainability assurance and advisory services.
From 2017 to 2023, Mr Yeo served as Singapore and ASEAN Sustainability Leader, where he played a key role in expanding EY’s sustainability capabilities and teams across the region, and was directly involved in supporting many leading corporates and government agencies in developing their initial sustainability policies and reports. He also served on the Sustainability and Climate Change Committee of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (“ISCA”), and Enterprise Singapore’s Environment and Resources Standards Committee.
Mr Yeo also served as Marketing Leader of EY Singapore and Asia, and was directly involved in leading a major EY rebranding exercise across the region. As part of his marketing leader role, he also launched and led the EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards programme in Singapore from 2002 to 2011, and has strong links to the entrepreneurial community in Singapore.
Mr Yeo holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore. He is a Fellow of both the ISCA and CPA Australia.
